Hi Isaac, Adam, Thanks for another great podcast. (By the way I hope your negotiations work out with Kaman and Kaman please, don’t hold out like Rosenbaum) I understand why you felt that Kent was a filler but sometimes even this close to the end they are necessary. You need an episode to reaffirm the status quo, a benchmark to see how far things have come before the pick up speed and progress even further. The reason it feels like a filler is probably because of the things we now take for granted. For example Lois and Clarks relationship, Lois’ immediate taking action and contacting Tess and Emile when she realized it was Ultraman (why she did not contact Oliver or Chloe is a mystery to me but maybe that happened off screen) and the fact that Tess and Emile are part of the circle of help… These are things that before Lazarus or Patriot would not have happened. Clark’s willingness to help redeem Ultraman is also something that would not have happened before. I have to agree with you on how quickness of resolution to Ultraman left me a bit wondering how effective it will be. Is the Jor-El of the parallel earth good? Can Clark Luthor come back now anytime he wants through the fortress? Probably not but that’s just the nerd in me. SPOILER ALERT…Adam, I hear they changed the title to the last part of the Finale to “Ripley’s”. lol! Thanks guys!

Thanks for your comments, Anabel! We just feel like we’re at the end game here and they need to start wrapping it up and this just wasn’t doing that very well.

I totally understand. With only 6 hours or approximately 1 1/2 Lord of the Rings movies worth of time left you want it to progress with awesomeness. I’m sure they are saving the big bang for the finish.
