Wow! Listening to those 2 reveals back to back is great. Clark’s reasoning for telling Lois was very similar in both versions. This whole season so far the writers and actors have knocked it out of the park. I noticed another thing listening though. Another person who has knocked it out of the park in Louis Febre, the shows composer. He has been much better than Mark Snow in my opinion. He doesn’t play the same cookie cutter tunes for everything like Snow did in his later seasons. Louis has written distinct themes for every emotional interaction between the characters and he has adjusted those themes to fit the scene as well. Louis Febre has been spectacular, I can’t wait to hear what he writes for the suit reveal.

I agree. One of the most underrated things about the show for its entirety has been the musical score. In earlier seasons it relied more heavily on third party music, which I believe suited this show at the time. I think it conveys a nice tone to this scene and he should be rewarded or recognized somehow.
